The Vega Aixalá winery is a family dream. Founded in 2003 after recovering and rebuilding an old grandfather's vineyard, on the outskirts of Vilanova de Prades. Harvested by hand using a highly artisanal process. They opt for aging in amphorae and oak barrels to enhance the personality of each of their wines, intervening as little as possible. Limited production.
High layer, ripe red fruits and blackberries, gently spicy. Structured mid-palate with nuances of jams. Great potential to age. Aging in clay amphora for 6 months and old French oak barrels.
